The Swiss-style shepherds hut is being installed at Huts in the Hills on Prendwick Farm, on the edge of Northumberland National Park to the west of Whittingham.
Perched on nine mushroom shaped staddle stones, this new two-storey hut has been created with The Northumberland Shepherd Hut Company, with floorboards from Goose Hill First School in Morpeth and a flour mill in Chester.

A secret star-gazing den, huge mirrored glass windows, and a signature outdoor French antique bath on a large veranda, are among many other luxurious features that are sure to make this impressive hut an attractive proposition for anyone looking to get away from it all.
Whilst the huts have been closed to visitors, owners Nicola and Jamie Wood have used the time to upgrade their other four bespoke shepherds huts and add more features.
Nicola, who runs the huts side of the business, said: “We’ve been so sad to have to close our doors to our visitors, as we love being able to share our beautiful farm and views with guests, but we’ve spent the last few months making sure that when we reopen on April 12 , all of our huts are looking their very best.

Since opening in 2018, the huts have been a huge success and have become a sought-after holiday destination.
They take luxury glamping to a whole new level, with outdoor antique French baths and indoor power showers in every hut and an outdoor fire pit for alfresco dining.
Jamie, who focuses on the farm, recently introduced the Swiss breed Valais Blacknose to the sheep flock.
