Former pilot Ron Burrows to talk about flying RAF’s fast-jets at book event in Morpeth

From the 1960s through to the 1990s, Group Captain Ron Burrows Ron tested all of the RAF’s fast-jets.
He survived two crash landings and two emergency ejections, as well as numerous other close shaves and has written a book about his fascinating career.

Hide AdA master of his craft, he rose to become the Aeroplane and Armament Experimental Establishment’s chief test pilot.
His remarkable story, called Cold War Test Pilot, has been published by Pen & Sword Books.
