Hide AdEast Chevington Parish Council welcomed the expansion of a local businesses but highlighted existing parking issues.
There were no objections.
Planning officer Richard Laughton stated: ‘The proposal would extend an existing café and utilise a disused garage therefore it is considered that the change of use is acceptable in principle and would enhance the existing facilities to the benefit of the community.
‘It is acknowledged the proposed changes to the garage would not follow a traditional style to the café but utilise the existing structure of the garage. The current garage is made from corrugated steel and green cladding and an improvement to the unkempt appearance is welcome.’
